Consequent upon promotion in BPS 22 as Secretary to Government of Pakistan, Aftab Anwar Baloch, an officer of Pakistan Customs & Excise Group has joined as Chairman Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) on October 21. He held an introductory meeting with the top management on October 22, in which different areas of EPZA operations and issues faced by the Authority were discussed.

Baloch stressed the need for improving the performance of EPZA in order to boost exports and special emphasis was laid on the development of Sialkot and Gujranwala zones. He specifically asked the departmental heads to play a proactive role in resolving the issues of investors located in all zones of EPZA.-PR
